Rural Kenya is made up of nomadic pastoralist communities, who’s daily existence relies heavily on livestock. With wide-spread poverty, rapid population growth and unpredictable weather conditions, the lifestyle of these communities are becoming more and more precarious.
Creating Change
Established in 2022 Maziwa Kwa Maisha has been created to offer a complete solution to improve the productivity and income of rural dairy farmers, targeting women. By offering a proven feed solution to supplement the condition of dairy cattle, financing for small-scale dairy farmers, and providing access to market. Maziwa aims to raise income levels in rural households and in doing so improve standards of living for these rural communities.
